Description While that tour you will see the biggest attractions of Lower Silesia. This tour is recommended to the tourists who want to get general overview of our land.
The first attraction is the biggest wooden church in Europe: The Church of Peace in Swidnica. The church was erected by Silesian Protestants, who were allowed to do so after the Peace of Westphalia which finished the Thirty Year War. Beside it’s amazing interior and exceptional size, the most interesting part is construction. Builders rose it with out any single nail. They could only use wood and clay. Since 2001 Church of Peace has been on UNESCO World Heritage List.
Next you will visit the biggest castle in Silesia - Ksiaz, also called The Pearl of Lower Silesia. It was built in the 13th century and then during centuries many times rebuilt. At the beginning of WW2 castle was intended to be one of the Adolf Hitler residence. Later on Germans organized here an Archive of Main State Security Office. Then were built some mysterious tunnels under the castle. Ksiaz was always very popular place. Among many important persons visiting castle were Winston Churchill and John Quincy Adams (The President of U.S.A.). Now castle is a mix of different styles in architecture, with beautiful gardens and terraces.
The Last stop is Project Riese (eng. Giant) - mysterious undergrounds in the mountains from WW2. Underground halls and corridors make a stunning impression on every visitor. Until now we don’t know why where they built there.
Between stops you will see our mountains, country side and if you have a luck, some wild animals.

Additional info.
The average temperature inside Project Riese is around 5-8 degrees Celsius, so please be prepared on it. This is your privet tour, so generally you decide where and when you want to start, how long you want to be on the place and when you want to get a break.
